pre-order my debut book!
Eight years ago, I had a quiet, but persistent idea.
A vision to write something about anxiety... not just anxiety as a clinical diagnosis or frustrating feeling, but as something we live with, inherit, journey with, learn to befriend, perform through, and pass down in subtle ways.
A book about anxiety and legacy.
About nervous systems.
About the stories (and emotional legacies) we carry forward.
All those years ago, I never imagined I’d be writing this post.
Over the past decade, I’ve sat with hundreds (thousands?) of clients navigating anxiety in its many forms—high-functioning, invisible, inherited, praised, unwanted.
Writing this book in 2025 required me to slow down and reflect deeply on that clinical work and on my own anxiety journey—one I’ve been actively working through in therapy for many, many years.
Here’s the irony I’ve come to accept (and occasionally laugh about):
I’m a highly trained expert in diagnosing and treating anxiety… and anxiety has still had me in a chokehold at times.
(Progress, not perfection. And yes, I’ve come a long way.)
This book challenged me to explore the depths of generational anxiety and tell the truth (clinically, personally, and systemically) about what anxiety actually looks like in families, leadership spaces, parenting, and achievement-driven lives.
Today, I’m sharing that my book is officially available for pre-order.
If you choose to pre-order now:
➜ You’ll receive a signed copy, shipped free (directly from me) after launch on April 21st.
➜ You’ll have first access before the title and cover are revealed later this month.
This book is part self-help, part clinical textbook, part memoir, and more a guide... for those who are tired of simply managing anxiety and ready to understand it more honestly, deeply, and personally. It's a new way to journey with anxiety.
I’m grateful, humbled, and a little emotional hitting this milestone.
Thank you for being part of the journey.
